Hi, I'm Sarah. And yes, I've cried over a closet.

Not my proudest moment — but if you've ever stood in a tiny apartment surrounded by boxes, wondering how on earth you're going to fit your entire life into 400 square feet, you'll understand exactly what I mean.

I moved into my first small apartment six years ago. It was exciting for about three days. Then reality hit. No storage. No counter space. A "living room" that was really just a couch and a prayer. I kept thinking — this place is just too small. There's nothing I can do.

I was wrong.

Over the years I became a little obsessed. I read every design book I could find. I reorganized my apartment seventeen times (my partner stopped counting). I failed at a lot of things — the floating shelf that wasn't so floating, the "multifunctional" furniture that functioned terribly — and slowly figured out what actually works in real small spaces.

Not the ones in magazines. Not the ones with perfect lighting and no actual stuff in them.

Real ones. Messy ones. Lived-in ones.

That's what Cozy Small Space is about.

No expensive renovations. No "just buy a bigger place" advice. Just honest, practical ideas that make your small home feel like the cozy, beautiful space it absolutely can be — whatever your budget, whatever your style.
